Case:

This month’s case is a 39-year-old female who suffers with right buttock, hip and foot pain. Over the past 3 years her goals have shifted from returning to competitive sports such as skate skiing, cycling and running to performing functional activities like sitting at her job, standing to do the dishes or sit in a canoe.

Let’s see if we can exceed her expectations with our panelist’s’ help!

Case Presenter: Laura Battcock, MScPT

Laura Battcock, MScPT and Embodia Instructor

Laura is a physiotherapist who graduated from Dalhousie University in 2017. She has been practicing in the public and private sectors for six years. She has a passion for orthopaedics as well as women’s postnatal health and has continued her postgraduate training with courses in both fields. Moving forwards, she plans to continue to minimize the gap to accessible health care by providing evidence-based rehabilitation to rural communities across Labrador.
