Embodia provides healthcare organizations and clinics with a complete digital platform from online consultations to continuing education to patient home exercise programs and dashboards. Each year over 18,500+ physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, kinesiologists, and athletic therapists trust Embodia to develop their skills and deliver exceptional care.

1. Embodia for Telerehabilitation

Embodia provides a telerehabilitation platform (HIPAA/PIPEDA compliant) for all of our members (included in their membership). Clinicians can schedule and host online consults with their patients (unlimited sessions) for an unlimited length of time. Clinicians who wish to host sessions with more than one patient (group consults) can upgrade to our premium option (additional $30/month).

Telerehabilitation on Embodia is simple and free for our members so any physiotherapist or rehabilitation professional can provide care to their patients remotely. This complimentary webinar is designed to introduce practitioners to the basics of Embodia telerehabilitation including:

  • Scheduling, editing, and canceling virtual consultations
  • Digital consent forms
  • Group telerehabilitation options (up to 300 participants)
  • Supportive exercise videos and patient education material
  • How to create your own content

2. Embodia for HEP

Embodia for home exercise prescription (HEP) allows practitioners to share valuable and easy to follow video exercises and education that guide patients between their sessions. Patients feel engaged and motivated to continue with gentle reminders, notifications, and easy progress tracking. Most importantly, they have clear instructions showing them how to perform the exercises when they are at home. Mobile applications do not replace the clinical encounter, but they are a useful tool and an extension of delivering personalized HEPs in an existing therapeutic partnership.

Practitioners can prescribe from our growing library of videos, easily record a patient being coached through exercises and share these private videos securely with the patient, or from your own library of videos. Practitioners are empowered to monitor patient progress via the patient dashboard.

Embodia HEP allows you to:

  • Add as many patients as you like (patients use Embodia for Free)
  • Prescribe exercises
  • Share education
  • Create and share templates/protocols
  • Add your own exercises and education
  • Use the app which allows you to record your patients in session and share these videos/images with an individual patient (the file isn't uploaded or saved anywhere else)
  • Have a record of all prescribed content
  • Have a program summary of all prescribed content and patient performance (adherence), symptom levels and any notes they took
3. Embodia Academy

An online learning management system where practitioners can take courses, receive certificates of completion, engage in online forums, and take live webinars. We have a small library of free courses for everyone, an exclusive library of member only content, and premium courses which have a fee ranging from $20-$750 depending on the length and depth of the content.

We work with 240+ international course instructors who host their online courses with us. Embodia also has an Academy for the general public - this is a small, growing library of courses relevant to patients and the general public.

You can find Embodia Academy for Practitioners here and Embodia Academy for Consumers here.

4. Embodia Private Academies

Embodia Private Academies provide hospitals, associations, organizations, and clinics with a private learning management system to host their own online courses. Their Private Academy is accessible to their organization only and the admins/managers of the organization have the ability to add/remove users, add content, manage progress, create course tracks, exams, among other features. Private Academy users also have access to Embodia Academy and Webinars. They have the option to enable or disable Embodia for HEP. Pricing is available upon request.
