Background:

The development of femoroacetabular impingement will be discussed including operative and non-operative management with a focus on futuristic and collaborative approaches to care.

 

Speakers: Dr Ayeni

Dr Ayeni is Professor and Division Head of Orthopaedic Surgery at McMaster University.  He is also Medical Director of the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Forge FC.  He has published over 300 academic publications focused on sports medicine with a predominant focus on Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI). His research is focused on FAI has been funded by major institutions including the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Canadian Institute for Health Research.  Dr Ayeni has completed several thousand hip arthroscopic cases over his career and has spoken across the globe on FAI.
