Clinics on Embodia - Setting permissions for practitioners

Note: The actions described in this lesson require a Manager permission on your clinic.


How to Set Practitioner Permissions

  1. Click the Settings tab in the top navigation bar.
  2. Under My Clinic, select Practitioner Permissions.

Here you can:

  1. Set default permissions for all practitioners in your clinic
  2. Create personalized permissions for individual practitioners by clicking the edit icon next to their name

Setting permissions for practitioners on Embodia

Practitioner Permissions You Can Set

  1. Managing Own Patient Invoices – Allows the practitioner to create and manage invoices for their patients.

  2. Scheduling Classes – Enables the practitioner to schedule classes.

  3. Managerial Permissions – Grants full access to manage all aspects of your clinic, including:

    • Inviting other practitioners to join the clinic

    • Updating clinic billing information

    • Setting up services and payment methods

    • Managing questionnaires and other clinic-wide settings

    Note: In the Embodia guides, any lesson requiring Managerial Permissions will begin with: “The actions described in this lesson require a Manager permission on your clinic.”

  4. AI Charting – Appears only if AI Charting is enabled for your clinic.

  5. Viewing Colleagues’ Schedules – Allows the practitioner to view other practitioners’ schedules. You can restrict this permission to specific practitioners if needed.

  6. Managing Colleagues’ Schedules – Grants the ability to edit or manage other practitioners’ schedules.

  7. Viewing Colleagues’ Charts – Allows the practitioner to view other practitioners’ patient charts. Access can be restricted to specific practitioners to maintain privacy.
